Studio by SSM is a woman-owned creative marketing agency founded by Grace and Alex Hardie.
With backgrounds in entrepreneurship, marketing, and creative production, we understand what it takes to build and grow a brand from the inside out. We’ve worked on both the strategy side and the execution side, which allows us to approach every partnership with a balanced perspective.
We care about clarity, strong positioning, and building brands in a way that feels sustainable. As founders, we stay hands-on and involved, working closely with the brands we partner with rather than operating at a distance.
Our goal is simple. Help brands grow with direction, intention, and consistency.

We handle content from start to finish, including concepting, shot lists, creative direction, production, and editing.
We work closely with your team to understand your brand, then build content that aligns with your goals—whether that’s product-focused, lifestyle-driven, or campaign-based.
This includes short-form video, photography, and ongoing content designed for Instagram, TikTok, and digital use. We’re hands-on throughout the entire process, from planning to final delivery.

We lead the creative vision behind your brand and campaigns.
This includes developing shoot concepts, building moodboards, casting models, sourcing locations, and defining the overall look and feel of your content. We guide everything from styling to shot composition to ensure consistency across all assets.
We’re involved at every stage—pre-production, on set, and post—making sure the final output aligns with your brand identity and actually feels cohesive, not pieced together.

We manage your social presence with both strategy and execution.
This includes building out content calendars, planning what gets posted and when, writing captions, scheduling posts, and handling day-to-day engagement like comments and DMs.
We also track performance and adjust the strategy over time based on what’s working. Our role is to make sure your social channels stay active, consistent, and aligned with your overall brand direction.

We are on-site and hands-on throughout the entire event.
We capture content in real time, including booth content, product moments, lifestyle shots, and overall event coverage. This can range from quick, iPhone-style content for immediate posting to higher-quality photo and video for post-event use.
We focus on documenting the full experience, your setup, your audience, and the energy of the event while also creating assets that can be used across social, marketing, and future campaigns
